When reporting a bug, it helps to include your Windows version, which app and version you are running, what you did, and what happened. Because the app is local and private, we cannot see anything until you tell us.
Frequently asked questions
Does Aura work offline?
Yes. The AI model, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech all run on your device with no internet connection. Only features such as web search and academic research lookups require the internet, and only when you use them.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Download or buy the app and it works.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Your prompts, files, and conversation history stay on your device. The only outbound requests are for features you explicitly invoke, and those go directly to the relevant third-party service — never through us. See the Privacy Policy.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 or Windows 11. A reasonably capable PC is recommended; the app detects your hardware and adapts. Specific minimum specifications will be listed on the Microsoft Store product page at launch.
How do updates work?
Aura is distributed through the Microsoft Store, so updates are delivered and verified automatically. Our future apps on other platforms (such as Android on Google Play) will update through their respective stores the same way.
How do I report AI-generated content that seems inappropriate?
Aura includes a content-reporting option in its Settings. Choosing it writes a report to a file on your own device. Nothing is sent automatically — if you want us to see it, you send the file to support@littlebitofperil.ai from your own email program, and you can review its contents first.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases made through the Microsoft Store are subject to Microsoft's refund policy. Contact us at support@littlebitofperil.ai if you have a problem and we'll do our best to help.
